My wife’s previous model of this Iron finally failed after a decade when the internal reservoir cracked and leaked continuously. Otherwise, she really liked the non-stick face, ease of use and filling, and relatively light weight. She is still getting used to the 90-degree fill opening, which is far different than the old model. She especially likes the long cord and the good balance of the iron when using. Overall, a fine upgrade at a reasonable price.

|A PRESSING MATTER,
I’m very pleased with this iron (almost began by saying “I’m throoughly enjoying”…, but, really, who enjoys ironing? However, this iron does make one of my least favorite tasks easier and quicker.
First of all, it doesn’t weigh nearly as much as my old iron and does a better job in that the steam holes are smaller allowing for a wider, more even spray. And, they do not drip.
Another thing I like is the shape of the tip that allows me to get into corners and pleats to press. There’s also the unique ability to give a sharp blast of steam, which has been good for denim and other heavy materials.
Although I’ve only used it for a short while I’d give it a high five as there’s no indication of problems to come.

I had Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate for a while and died. I had to iron the day, so I went to J&R where is the closest shop in my area. Unfortunately J&R did not have Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate, instead I found this T-fal iron. Checked Amazon via iPhone, but Amazon did not have this brand new T-fal iron at that time, instead carrying old item of T-Fal FV4379003 Ultraglide Easycord Iron with Scratch Resistant Nonstick Soleplate & Anti-Scale System , Red. T-fal iron has great feedback so I decided to try this iron. I made a right choice. I LOVE this iron! Very powerful steam, heat up fast, water does not leak at all, and it “glides” super smooth. Cuts ironing time in half. Get this iron! It’s a great value.
