What This Iron Can Do
The beauty about this model is it does what it claims to do satisfactorily at a very affordable price. The steam output is adequate, it glides easily across fabrics, the LED display is clear, it alerts you when it is ready and it heats up fast. I don't think I need to go on any further as you can go through all the Amazon reviews
Cons
Now, this in the interesting part. The minor flaw with the Black & Decker Digital Advantage Iron is in the color. It makes it hard for you to see the water level in the tank although the redeeming quality is it is large enough that you don't need to refill too often.
The major flaw is in the digital stuff. The one that I had used gave me a cranky "Clean" message although no cleaning is required. Although the display is faulty, it is not a major issue if you know you how to take care of your iron and clean it when needed.
Price
The Black & Decker Digital Advantage Iron is a good model to buy given the price, if everything works as it should, including the digital controls. It is a risk you have to take but since the flaws do not hamper the effectiveness of the iron to produce wrinkle-free clothes, it may be a risk that pays off. After all, most retailers sell this model for around $30 to $35 and for this price range, you will be hard put to find another digital iron of a reputable brand name.
